Use pickle.dump to save a pickle.

Pickle files are usually named *.pickle, although you can call them whatever you like. Make sure the file is opened in ‘wb’ mode (write binary). This is more cross-platform friendly than the ‘w’ mode (write the text), which may or may not operate on Windows and other platforms.

Unpickling in Python means the retrieval of original objects from a string or from the pickled file. Here, a byte stream is converted into an object.
